I liked that griddle so much that I tried to get one for myself. Unfortunately, I could not find the older model anywhere so I bought this one. This current model just doesn't seem as sturdy as the original nor of the same quality. I'm disappointed. A BAD BUY! Date: 2007-04-19 | Rating: 1 I bought this Griddle for my wife back in July of 2002, it warped really bad after only a few week's of use! It's been put away ever since but this morning i found it & was going to fix breakfast for my wife & me, i guess i had forgotten how bad it was. I set it on the stove & it is so warped i could hold one corner of it down & slip my hand under the oppisite corner, this made me so mad i just had to tell other's about this product! Don?t buy this thing!!!! Not for use on ceramic flat cooktops Date: 2006-05-09 | Rating: 1 I was very disappointed when I received the griddle. The bottom only rests on a ridge around the outer edge of the griddle. It is not appropriate for use on flat cooktops. Neither the picture or produce description indicated this.
