Amazon.com Review
This versatile cookware set from Cuisinart comprises a roomy 8-quart stockpot that's perfect for soups and pasta, 3-quart and 1-1/2-quart saucepans, and a 10-inch skillet. The stockpot and saucepans come with tempered glass covers, designed to seal in flavor without hiding the food from view. Each piece is made from durable hard-anodized aluminum that heats up quickly without hot spots, and each is lined with an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating. Quantanium is designed for healthy low-fat cooking, allowing even delicate foods like fish to be cooked without sticking. Every pan cleans up quickly and easily, and is tough enough for use with metal utensils, giving years of trouble-free service. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles on each pan are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. Together, the four pans in this set will handle almost any everyday cooking task, making them ideal for setting up a new kitchen or replacing older cookware. --Simon Leake What's in the Box 8-quart stockpot with cover; 3-quart saucepan with cover; 1-1/2-quart saucepan with cover; 10-inch skillet.

A pleasure to use and a snap to clean

This is the second cuisinart cookware set i have purchased from Amazon. The first i bought for my home and have been satisfied beyond my expectations. I bought the second 7 piece set for my travel trailor and again cannot begin to describe how wonderful they are to use.......TERRY THURMAN

Excellent value for the $

I bought this for a friend as a house-warming gift and she was quite taken by the product. They've been working great for her so far. Easy to care for, very good non-stick qualities and they give her kitchen a good look.

Love This!

First cookware set and love it! It's so easy to clean and perfect for my cooking needs. I love the look and feel too.

Great but not perfect
Date: 2005-10-06 | Rating: 4
As always, you will never find a perfect cookware. This Cuisinart 7 piece is no exception. It is great but not perfect. Its light weight is very impresive and handle isn't that hot after long period of cooking time. Easy to clean. The non-stick surface is better than other brand. It takes very short time to heat up stuff too. However, couple weaknesses, the lit does not have a small hole to release pressure which we have to watch out for overheat spill. Plus the lit is not the same design as the pot itself, it heats up really quick. So be careful. It is not a good idea to buy plastic handle with the lit, it will deform and loose after a while. Over all, it is better than what I expected even though I have owned this set of cookware for 4 weeks.

Good For The Money......But
Date: 2005-11-10 | Rating: 3
I have had this set for about a month and have had a chance to use them enough to have an opinion. They are well balanced and perform well, especially the sauce pans and stock pot. The 8 quart stock pot is large enough for a family of 4-6. Cuisinart advertises you can use metal utensils, but when you read their recommended use card, it says metal utensil will scratch the surface. That is a misleading marketing gimmick in my opinion. My main complaint with the Cuisinart cookware is they heat up very quickly due to the thin 3 mm thickness. The fry pans are the weakest items of the set. After side-by-side comparisons against Emeril's All-Clad Hard Anodized, I much prefer the Emeril brand. The Emeril pans are 5 mm thick and seem to cook more evenly and are not near as temper-mental as the Cuisinarts. For not much more money, I would look at the higher quality Emeril Hard Anodized set; and sorry Amazon, the best deals for Emerilware are using one of those 20% off coupons at Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens N Things.

Old Model is Better
Date: 2006-06-25 | Rating: 2
I bought this griddle after borrowing my friend's Cuisinart double burner griddle in April. I liked that griddle so much that I tried to get one for myself. Unfortunately, I could not find the older model anywhere so I bought this one. This current model just doesn't seem as sturdy as the original nor of the same quality. I'm disappointed.

A BAD BUY!
Date: 2007-04-19 | Rating: 1
I bought this Griddle for my wife back in July of 2002, it warped really bad after only a few week's of use! It's been put away ever since but this morning i found it & was going to fix breakfast for my wife & me, i guess i had forgotten how bad it was. I set it on the stove & it is so warped i could hold one corner of it down & slip my hand under the oppisite corner, this made me so mad i just had to tell other's about this product! I think i'll give it to my dog to eat out of. George in MO.

Be aware!!!!!

Not for use on ceramic flat cooktops
Date: 2006-05-09 | Rating: 1
I was very disappointed when I received the griddle. The bottom only rests on a ridge around the outer edge of the griddle. It is not appropriate for use on flat cooktops. Neither the picture or produce description indicated this.

My favorite oven pan
Date: 2008-04-01 | Rating: 5
I've had this pan for over 5 years now and I can say that it's easily the first one I reach for whenever I need to prepare a dish in the oven, whether a lasagna, roasted vegetables, or a gratin dish. The pan has been incredibly durable and is the perfect size. The nonstick surface has been very durable despite the best efforts of visiting parents and guests to use metal utensils on it. I've given it as a gift and it's been a hit.

Great Pan
Date: 2007-10-25 | Rating: 5
I like this pan since it is deeper than my old pan I was using. My lasagna baked evenly and the pan cleaned up easily.

Great stir fry pan!
Date: 2007-01-17 | Rating: 5
This is a great buy. It's hard to find a nonstick hard anodized pan this large with a glass cover (which fits fine) at the price. And with the "Quantanium" non-stick surface, I could use metal utensils if I wanted along with the benefit of easy clean up. Also, please note that it's flat-bottom--I have a ceramic stove top and even calling Cuisinart didn't clear that up. I decided to take the risk and order it and it was indeed flat. Recommended!

the everyday pan
Date: 2007-09-02 | Rating: 5
Bought it about 18 months ago and have been using it almost everyday. Bought other pans too, from cuisinart and calphalon, about the same time, when I moved into this apartment. Those are good pans too, but this one has been my favoriate. It's large enough for everything, and convenient enough for stir fries. Even for those dishes that requires a flat pan (and i have two of them, both brand new), I often use this one, since the center of its bottom is flat. the inside is still perfect after 18 months' usage... and it cleans really well. i don't use dishwasher though. like the glass cover too, makes it easier for me to monitor the food while it's cooking. love it, will definitely consider giving it to sister and friends as gift. i did buy it at a better price too.

LOVE IT
Date: 2009-03-31 | Rating: 5
This is a great pan, not flimsey at all. It cooks beautifully, I just love it and highly recommend it. It's heavy duty and absolutely cooks evenly...just remember to not use high heat as the instructions tell you.

A great skillet
Date: 2009-04-26 | Rating: 5
Got tired of having to replace my teflon coated woks every few months. So far this is is a delight. With almost two months use there is no flaking or scratches. A bit heavy for one-handed flinging, but worth the weight and the price.

Perfect for stir fry
Date: 2009-08-13 | Rating: 5
I have it for several months. Works great! Big enough and deep enough to be called a real wok. Curved perfectly that no food would fly over the edge when I do stir-fry. The Quantanium nonstick interior made the cooking and cleanup easy. The best part is it comes with a glass lid. Highly recommended for Asian cooking (stir-fry, steaming...)

Versatile and good additional piece
Date: 2007-03-13 | Rating: 5
The 3 quart saucepan is a great piece. The lid has perforated holes to allow either steam to excape, or when cooking pasta, the elimination of using a colander. The lip is a nice touch and much appreciated in a larger saucepan, whose use extends beyond reduction sauces, gravies, and hot beverages. Good to boil potatos and pasta. Probably deep enough to use as a double boiler for a small amount of melting, but have not tried yet. Coated to withstand metal utensils, but it is safer to use silicone. Easy clean up, but you must buy a hard anodized cookware cleaner or expect stains. Nice versatile sized item.

Fantastic Pot
Date: 2009-10-04 | Rating: 5
I recently received a few other pieces of cookware from this line, which prompted me to order this pot. I can only say that I love it! It is very well made, has great heft and feel and is the perfect size for cooking 2 lbs. of mussels:-). As far as the lid goes, it fits fine and the glass lets you see what's going on. The perforation makes for a convenient way to drain pasta as well. All in all, a great pot.

Excellent Saucepan
Date: 2008-07-03 | Rating: 4
This is a useful addition to our kitchen. The nonstick hard-anodized surface works extremely well and the lid with the built-in strainer is a great feature. We bought this to replace a saucepan that wore out and now we are thinking of replacing all our saucepans with the Cuisinart Chef's Classic line.

Almost perfect
Date: 2009-05-25 | Rating: 4
Very nice pot with the only shortcoming being the ill-fitting lid...it's pretty loose, but not problematic. Hard anodized is my new way to go. ...well...maybe the handle is a little on the thin side for grabbing too. Could be beefier for turning to drain heavy stuff.

I'm the crepe making Queen!!!
Date: 2009-12-14 | Rating: 5
I have been making crepes for years and this this the first pan I have purchased made specifically for crepes. I love it!!! It's just the perfect size...not too big nor too small. The weight is good and it cooks the crepes with an even browning. I am very happy with my purchase...I spent hours looking for just the right one..and I found it!

Great pan - poor packaging
Date: 2008-11-24 | Rating: 4
This is a nice heavyweight pan - no hot spots at all, so even egg crepes are easy (crepe-thick omelets). Like most nonstick, it probably won't last long under high heat, but I'm not sure why one of the other reviewers would ever use high heat to make crepes... It would have been a 5 if Cuisinart had packaged it so that the surface wouldn't scratch during shipping - it is sold "open stock", in other words, no packaging except for a paper label.

Not for Commercial use
Date: 2007-08-08 | Rating: 2
I wanted a crepe pan that would hold up to alot of high temp. After 2 weeks of use it looked old. This is a terrific pan for home use, but not for commercial. We followed all instructions for cleaning. With alot of use it just can't handle high temps with a gas stove.
